The Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V) Postsecondary provides an opportunity for Santa Rosa District Schools to develop more fully the academic and career and technical skills of postsecondary education students who elect to enroll in career and technical education programs.  Perkins V Postsecondary funds are used to provide SRCSD students with the academic and technical skills needed to be successful in a knowledge and skills based economy.  These federal resources help ensure that career and technical programs are academically rigorous and up-to-date with the needs of our regional business and industry.  They also support innovation and expands access to quality career and technical education programs.
