Title of Item:Civil Engineering - Continuing Contract
Description/Introduction:

Two Civil Engineering firms responded to our legal advertisement soliciting proposals for a Five year Continuing Contract.

A review committee comprised of Ricky Grimes, Richard Laing, Maintenance Department and  Cindy Norton and Travis Fulton, Purchasing Department and I have reviewed the qualifications of the proposers and placed them in rank order:  (Tally Sheet attached)

1.  McKim & Creed

2. Kenneth Horne & Associates

The committee's recommendation is to accept both firms with McKim & Creed serving as primary Civil Engineer and Kenneth Horne & Associates serving as secondary Civil Engineer firms.

I am requesting Board approval to proceed with negotiations with both firms in the capacity listed above.
