This grant proposal is submitted as a comprehensive project to meet the need to develop a middle school health sciences exploratory program with a focus on in-demand careers in the health field. Curriculum and Instruction Division leaders collaborated with the county military liaison to develop a project that prepares middle school students for the future workforce and work-life balance by creating authentic learning experiences that encourage and develop skills and aptitude through the application of health sciences with a focus on STEAM innovation. This proposal will allow us to take health science career exploration to the next level through engaging exploratory programs, experiences and curricula.
