Triumph Gulf Coast was created to make awards from available funds to projects that meet the priorities for economic recovery, diversification, and enhancement of the disproportionately affected counties.  Technical Colleges/School Boards representing each of the eight Triumph Counties are eligible to apply for an award from the Triumph Gulf Coast Skilled Labor Recovery Fund.  The Program will provide up to $1 million per year for up to 3 years to produce "Fast Track CAPE Certification Training" (courses determined by the Florida Department of Education) in certain skilled labor categories.  Our proposed project will address the need for skilled laborers in the occupational areas of HVAC and Pipefitting programs located at Locklin Technical College.
