The Florida Job Growth Grant Fund was created to promote economic opportunity by improving public infrastructure and enhancing workforce training.  SRCSD plans to utilize the Fund to expand the Welding Technology and Welding Technology-Advanced programs at Locklin Technical College.  The proposal defines a direct career pathway for program participants to train in the welding career field and advance in the manufacturing career field.  This effort will ensure a skilled, talented pipeline of qualified employees to grow our local workforce and drive economic development efforts.
