| | | | | | | | | Title of Item: | Military Connected Schools Initiative Grant | | Description/Introduction: | The purpose of the Military Connected Schools Initiative Grant is to improve the educational achievement of students in military communities in the area of mathematics. This will be facilitated through services from Edmentum, a digital math intervention provider. Santa Rosa County has been identified as an eligible county for this grant. An adaptive learning program (Exact Path) will be implemented as a math intervention at Sims Middle School and Hobbs Middle School this school year. Students at Sims Middle School and Hobbs Middle School will also utilize a standards-based proficiency program (Study Island) to support FSA math practice. | | Recommendation/Action Requested: | Approval of the grant. |
