Please find the attached cost from Stephen Furman, Santa Rosa County Public Works Director, in the amount of $40,600.  This project will pave 1,890 feet of North Elkhart Drive which is adjacent to the Elkhart K-8 School.  This portion of Elkhart Drive is currently a dirt road and must be upgraded due to the fact that it will experience increased car and bus traffic when the school is constructed. 

Also attached is a cost estimate performed by Patrick Jehle with an opinion of cost totaling $241,528.00.  The funds being used for this project were previously approved by the Board as part of the Capital Outlay Requests for the 2018-19 school year in the amount of $50,000 ($9,400 below the county's original estimate).
