Award of RFP 13-10 Group Medical to Florida Blue
Approval of the following recommendations:
1) Modify the limiting age of eligible dependents from 30 to 26
2) Offer two medical plans versus four: High Option PPO and Low Option HDHP/HSA
3) Equalize School Board premium and HSA contributions so that all employees receive the same dollar amount from the Board regardless of the medical plan option they choose
4) Increase the School Board HSA contribution from $750/$1,500 to $1,000/$2,000
5) Continue to offer the Blue Medicare Advantage plan to Medicare eligible retirees
6) Continue to offer a $20.00 wellness premium credit for employees who participate in the bio-metric screening and complete the on-line Personal Health Assessment
