Project will prepare youth for academic and future career success emphasizing work experience and industry certifications for regional in demand occupations. Provide outreach and recruitment/sustainment of 90 SRCSD “at risk” youth (ages 14-24). Funding shall provide salaries/benefits for youth participants, one full-time WIOA Youth Program Coordinator (Career Specialist), a full-time Career Specialist and one full-time (10 month) Paraprofessional to oversee the program and assist youth participants. | | Recommendation/Action Requested: | Requesting approval. |
