Description/Introduction:

Three civil engineering firms responded to our legal advertisement soliciting proposals for a Five Year Continuing Contract.

A review committee comprised of Cindy Lambeth, Purchasing Dept., Ricky Grimes and Kaleb Harris, Maintenance Dept., and I reviewed the qualifications of the proposers and placed them in rank order:

1. Jehle-Halstead, Inc.

2. Kenneth Horne & Associates

3. Preble-Rish, Inc.

I am requesting Board approval to proceed with negotiations with the first ranked firm.  If terms can not be negotiated, we will proceed with the second ranked firm, and so on.
